Arizona Citizens Defense League ®

Protecting Your Freedom

If you want to protect your Right to Keep and Bear Arms in Arizona, then you want to join the Arizona Citizens Defense League ® (AzCDL)

The Arizona Citizens Defense League
Fourteenth Annual Meeting of Members
was held on October 12, 2019, at the
Tucson University Park Hotel in Tucson

We thank everyone who attended .  You made it a huge success!  Several hundred  AzCDL members and their guests filled the meeting room.  Because almost everyone was armed (a condition we insist on in our contracts with any hotel that hosts our meetings) it was probably the safest place to be in the entire state of Arizona.

Special thanks go to our small army of dedicated volunteers who managed everything from registration to the silent auction and everything in between.  We could not have done this without you.

For those not able to attend, Charles Heller, AzCDL’s media maven and our annual meeting Master of Ceremonies, recorded the event.  Key recordings of the meeting are posted below.

AzCDL President Dave Kopp (6 minutes)
Keynote Speaker AWR Hawkins (47 minutes)
Arizona State Senator Jay Lawrence (6 minutes)
Arizona State Senator Dave Gowan (13 minutes)
AzCDL Director and Secretary Tom Woodrow (13 minutes)
Author and publisher Alan Korwin (25 minutes)

More extensive audio and video recordings of the annual meeting will be made available for our membership in the coming weeks.

Next year, our annual meeting will once again be held in Phoenix
As information becomes available, it will be posted here.

(Note:  The raffle system we use works best using the Chrome browser)

First Time Ticket Buyer?

If this is your first time using our online, automated raffle system, click on the above raffle link and then scroll down to the “Buy Raffle Tickets” button (see the example below).

Clicking on the “Buy Raffle Tickets” button will cause a pop-up to appear for purchasing your raffle tickets.

Complete the form to purchase your raffle tickets.  All fields require an entry.  Either a mobile or land-line phone number can be entered into the “Cell Number” field (We need to be able to contact you if you are the winner).  Create a password of your choosing to streamline the process for your next raffle ticket purchase.

After providing the required purchase information, click on the green “Pay Now” button at the bottom of the pop-up form.  You will receive an email confirmation of your purchase.

The entire process is automated.  No physical tickets are issued.  No ticket numbers are created.  An email confirmation of your purchase will be sent to the email address you provided when you made your purchase.

Winning the Raffle

Once we tell the Accelevents system to end the raffle, the winner will be randomly selected and then contacted by AzCDL.  Three attempts will be made to contact the winner using the phone number and/or email address provided by the ticket buyer.  If the winner cannot be reached after three attempts, a new winning ticket may be drawn.

Transfer through FFL

Winners must comply with all federal, state and local laws.  Firearms will only be transferred through federally licensed firearms dealers.  If a winner does not qualify for possession of the firearm their raffle ticket is invalid and a new winner will be drawn.  We will not refund the cost of the raffle tickets purchased.
